Ministry of the Environment constitutes the Competent Authority in Denmark. It is the responsibility of the competent authority to manage the administrative tasks according to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.

Ministry of the Environment also constitutes the Representation in Denmark. This task involves the responsibility for Denmark’s contacts to the Secretariat to the Cartagena Protocol.
